My Hurricane Alibi

By
Stuck in the eye of a hurricane
Free from life but constricted in chains

Can’t break loose, can’t get out
No one hears him, despite how loud he shouts

He won’t fight it, he won’t cry
A terrible, secret alibi

The demon follows, the demon scouts
A tear rolls down his face, filled with doubts
