A man and woman, side by side,
stood quietly upon a hill.
From there they saw a passing ride;
a king expressing his will.
They heard him speak to the gathered crowd,
from his lips poured words of kindness.
In truth his heart was crafty and proud -
the silent observers knew this.
"How strange," said the man," to hail his duplicity,
he has no real power.
When finally he destroys his pillars,we,
down will fall his tower."
