Favorite Quote:
"Those who choose safety over freedom deserve neither."

I am a bird,caged
the bars kind society
These constrictions pull and pluck,
pieces of my soul.

Floating down my feathers go,
To be stolen by the wind,
Soon there will be nothing left,
and they will let me out.

But I’ll have forgotten how to fly,
and will no longer look up,
but sit on their finger,
and only learn the words they want.

The author's comments:
It's about the restrictions society put on human beings as a whole. We aren't allowed to say certain things, discussing certain topic is taboo, and certain actions will get you looked on by the city even if they weren't harmful. By the time we bend to the will of Kind Society we are nothing more than little robots saying the words they want us to speak.
