Stupid, stupid girl

Stupid, stupid girl
Trapped inside his world
Too blinded by his bright blue eyes
To see what he’s really there for

Toxic, toxic words
He uses as his lure
To reel her in on his line
And poison her mind, so pure

Restless, restless eyes
To match his convincing lies
“Baby, I love only you.â€
And into his words, she buys.

Waits and waits and waits
But he doesn’t give her the time of day
She sends him texts, trying her best
But he’s done, at least for today

Teary, teary eyes
Now she’s so broken inside
He’s doing just fine with a new little flirt
While she feels worse every night

Weeks, weeks go by
And he’s right back by her side
This happens again, over and over
And she’s fallen in love with his lies.

Stupid, stupid girl
When will she ever learn
But the dumb girl can’t get it straight
So she continues to suffer the burns.

Great poem! I can imagine it almost being lyrical, with the repitition of "stupid" and such. Good job! :)
