Fragile like a heart,
Paper.

Can be burned, crushed, ripped.
The reason for life is to find
Love.

Searching for trust, security, and devotion.
I have found you, strong and sensitive,
Passionate, loving.
To you I give the key
To my field of
Paper flowers.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem in my school's Creative Writing class. The song inspired "Fallen" by Evanescence inspired me to write this piece about love and devotion.
