you say "she so sweet,
you'd do any thing to get her to want you"

but yet i sit
listening to you telling me about this girl you love

i do not know her name,
yet i know all there is to know about her

you tell me of her every morning
like its the same day that plays over and over...

i can only wait until night
when i lay my head to sleep
so i can dream that one day you say

i tell him about this boy i know
i say "He's so funny
I'd to anything to get him to want me"

but yet you sit
