Battles of Love

August 2, 2008

Her heart was woven the with threads of affection

A girl who’s heart shines a light of peace

Tried to hate it, curse it, but her love is an ultimate protection.

When she speaks, melodies erupt in the form of words

Aw, let me face it, I’m in love

A love seen and smiled on by the skies

One which outshines the purest of doves

Together we fly higher than the eagles eye

My heart moans lullabies in the absence of her presence

Unknown but felt emotions come and go in milliseconds but feel like forever

That she ever leaves me is my truest terror
