I am fifteen and already different,
I change everything because I want to be seen,
not by my teachers or parents
but by the people I can call my friends.
From changing ways,
to silent stays,
to the puzzling mind,
yet still kind.
Trying to find a place in this world,
where things can finally be right.
No distance,
no loss,
no cost.
With a proud mother,
an appreciative boyfriend,
and loyal friends.
I want a place where I’m happy,
not confused or sad or even angry,
a place where I’m not scared
to be me.
I change everything because I want to be seen,
not by my teachers or parents
but by the people I can call my friends.
From changing ways,
to silent stays,
to the puzzling mind,
yet still kind.
Trying to find a place in this world,
where things can finally be right.
No distance,
no loss,
no cost.
With a proud mother,
an appreciative boyfriend,
and loyal friends.
I want a place where I’m happy,
not confused or sad or even angry,
a place where I’m not scared
to be me.
