My tears are taking forever to dry
Once again I fell victim to a lie
My social life got depleted
My good reputation deleted
A rumor was spread around
That I brought my friend down
My insides scream innocent
But my pleas for understanding become insignificant

Make the rumors cease
My traitor's power gets stronger
I can take this no longer
I try to take a stand
To stop this treatment at hand
But sadly it's everywhere
An unfortunate truth we're well aware
