Day in, day out
My head's in a daze
How will I ever
Get out of this maze
The quarter hour
Reached the quarter moon
I got up
Blinked my eyes too soon
And each and ever
Ringing of the daily bells
Kicks around in my brain
Like some song from Hell
There's a thin rope
I balance on carefully
As soon as this nightmare ends
I can dream wholly
