Everythings Alright
I know that I should tell you “everything’s alright”,
As I watch you staring deep into the night.
But I know they’re only sounds to you, the words that just won’t bite.
I can see it in your eyes, you’re looking for that light,
But no matter what you do, it just seems so out of sight.
You’re looking to the sky, you gather all your might,
Praying for a sight of that great white light.
To elude the truth you try your best to fight
Just lay down now and close your eyes,
Don’t taint yourself with his demise.
Let him rest in those beautiful Colorado skies.
