Love is Blind

Thoughts constantly running through my mind
I wonder if love has made me blind
For cupid has a habit of making me careless
At times even fearless

Love can make me believe any lie
For fear of hearing "goodbye"
But what is a relationship without trust?
I have always been taught that honesty is a must

Love should set me free
But sometimes I am not me
I can become a completely different person
Not always a better version

Love is like a disease
Give me the cure, please
In order to save me from certain demise
You must open my eyes
