Tears For a Friend
I sit here and I cry today,
Watching my dearest friend slip away.
I don't know when...
I don't know where...
But I know I'll see her standing there.
There, on that glimmering shore,
Where pains and fears we feel no more.
So when she dies, I'll close my eyes,
And see her, standing, on that glimmering shore.
