Do It All Again

A poisonous relationship
Creeping, crawling, love
Who says that I can’t end it now?
Who thinks that I’m not tough?

I don’t ever want to loose you, dear
But will I ever win?
You tell me that you’ll stop for good
Then do it all again
Just tell me that it’s okay now
Then do it all again

I lock up all my doors
I even change the keys
You take out the one that opens my heart
And dangle it over me

With us, there is no virtue
Does that make us a sin?
You tell me that you’ll stop for good
Then do it all again
Just tell me that it’s okay now
Then do it all again

I think that I’ve grown stronger
I tell myself it’s true
But somehow that all melts away
As soon as I see you

I want to, need to, end it now
But how do I begin?
You tell me that you’ll stop for good
Then do it all again
Just tell me that it’s okay now
Then do it all again

It's happening tomorrow
It’s been tomorrow for a year
I close my eyes to shut you out
You always reappear

You say that, alone, I’ll have nowhere to go
Is that worse than where I’ve been?
You tell me that you’ll stop for good
Then do it all again
Just tell me that it’s okay now
Then do it all again

I swear that I will end soon
Then do it all again
I promise that you’re history
Then do it all again

Pure truth. You have lots of empathy. You have to in order to make it sound so realistic. You are a true artist.
