Our Goals Above

We will embark on many journeys,
from the sky up to the ground.
Look at all we have learned so far,
look at all the treasures we've found.

We have made our friends and foes,
made list of impossibilities.
We have failed sometime around,
but we won't lose our great abilities.

No matter how far we take,
to get to the other side.
We will not seek refuge from the rain,
no,we will not even hide.

Just because the flowers bloom,
and sunshine brightens our way.
We can not be sure,that life is pure.
This doesn't mean it'll be okay.

One time I fell so fast and swift,
I had nothing to hold onto.
But you came around and pulled me up.
I often wondered why and who.

Safely,the days are locked away,
we live them one to another.
We stand to fight and stay tight,
we pull together like sister and brother.

When this road comes up short,
and have no where else to go.
We wouldn't stop and wait for another.
Another road will appear down low.

From that path,we must head up,
and cling to rocks and sediment.
When we sinned,we all try again,
like now a criminal would repent.
