My Jack In The Box
Little fingers and little eyes full of innocence they pry
Be careful little one, It’s watching, Its learning to soon you will learn of Its lies.
Soft bells and sweet chimes ring playfully to my ears.
It luls me into trance a perfect pattern Its created
A promise soon to be broken, a false reality presented before me.
A trap awaits me and know I can’t escape.
It’s laughing at me now from a dark place void of love.
It will strike from its perfect hour
It will be broken from its invisible chains
