As darkness overtook his poor soul
He knew the snake would too
He could feel it brush against his skin
But he was blind to the world
And,
Death flashed in his eyes
For he knew the snake was a behemoth
And the snake’s venomous blade-like fangs
Left him sprawled across the dirt
