Cantina Culture
Remember those days I ate her food
Other than Hotdogs or Hamburger,
Other than Pizza or Spaghetti,
those days I remember eating
in my grandmother's Cantina
She would force me to eat her food
as I pretend to like it, but now as
I thought about it...
I loved it
Remember those days I ate her food
Most meals I would eat now,
I would remember my grandmother
the aroma coming out of her Cantina
I would go back and tell her how much
I love it
I daydream of her food endlessly
but now it will fade into my mind
into the abyss, like this culture
I have learned to embrace
Remember those days I ate her food
