Sleeping skyscrapers smile
The bars brew buoyancy
Restaurants cook fortunes
And buildings burst.

Taxis dance.
The buses move like a slow drawl
I walk, a mere mortal.

I think this is a really good poem and deserves to be in the magazine. It reminds me of E.E. Cummings.
