In a far off forest lived a band of unicorns
One day, there was a battle in a nearby plain
They slashed and stabbed the trolls with their colorful horns
Sadly, the trolls prevailed, leaving only three unicorns living
There were two males and one female: Virgil, Mignon, and Clementine
Virgil and Mignon both loved Clementine and wanted to have her hoof in marriage
Clementine didn't know who to choose for her marriage
She really loved both of the unicorns
Virgil and Mignon both tried to flirt with Clementine
Mignon was smart and handsome, but Virgil was strong and plain
She didn't know which one she wanted to spend her life living
with. Virgil and Mignon prepared for a fight by sharpening their horns
They maimed but not killed each other with their horns
She didn't want them killing each other for her marriage
Clementine wanted them both to continue living
It was a love triangle of unicorns
She had to choose between smart or strong, and handsome or plain
A difficult choice fell upon Clementine
"Oh my, what will I do?" thought Clementine
"If I don't choose soon they will kill each other with their horns!"
So she ran away, to think, across the plain
Clementine did not want to commit to marriage
When she arrived to her destination, she found another band of unicorns
Clementine didn't know that more were living
All of the males wanted to spend their lives living
with her. "No, I have too many suitors," said Clementine
"You don't say," said the unicorns
They fought, clashing their horns
They were all vying for her hoof in marriage
Clementine cried as she ran home across the plain
She decided to marry whoever won the last battle on the plain
Her husband would be the one who remained living
Virgil and Mignon fought for her marriage
Virgil won and was allowed to marry Clementine
Mignon lay dead, maimed by horns
Virgil and Clementine were finally two happy unicorns
So the marriage was planned to be on the plain
For the two living unicorns in this far off forest
And, as cannibals, Virgil and Clementine used their horns to make filet Mignon.
