Greetings, haunting man of night
Onto nocturnal meanderings you alight
Generating a bloody messy sight
Startling dreamer into waking fright
Strangling sound, outing light
Against you nightly, I struggle, I fight
My mind you squeeze, twist, hold tight
I wish you gone with all my might
For my terrors swell, gain new height
What have I done, what needs made right?
Haunting man, let me rest tonight.
