Mirrors mock me,
scales smirk,
models taunt me,
and diets don't work.
Anorexia kills you,
bulimia is gross,
pills are too expensive,
and surgery hurts.
Exercising makes no difference,
not eating makes me sick,
I look in the mirror,
and wish that I could be thin.

I think all girls in our society goes through this. Too much trash in the media with the pressure to look perfect . . . it gets to our heads. We often forget that it's what's inside that makes us beautiful.
