The moon chuckles and
The sun sobs
A place for the broken
A place to be free
For the ones who need freedom
And for those who come wanting
Wanting
A beggar’s man,
The bet is made,
To rapture the roots of tomorrow
Tossed carelessly into the fires of
Day.
