Peace

Peace

The Blissful smile of a child

Peace is a place seldom known by the faces of many

Peace, a place above this world, unseen by evil

An uncommon common ground

Above the dead, corrupt, and the sewers of instability

A state of mind sustained only seconds but forever treasured

In this cotton wonderland all aspects of life appear to

just

melt

away.

I have to say the person who inspired me to write this poem is my Grandmother. It was when i was tired while completing homework, i looked up at her across the table and saw her face and it brought me PEACE.
