Once I was strong, dreams filled with hope,
Until voices like a disease
Made their mark and on my heart wrote
Venom a doctor can not cure

Each day the lies and rumours spread
With no one left to confide in
But the mournful voice in my head
Venom a doctor can not cure

You called me names ripped me apart
Now the fake mask of strength crumbles
A pawn in your game from the start
Venom a doctor can not cure

To dream of fictional heroes
Ironic it could have been you!
A Peter Parker or Zorros
Venom a doctor can not cure

Are you happy as tears stream down?
As the scars on my heart bleed through?
Courage draining, glaring face down
Venom a doctor can not cure

Your pain the trials of Hercules
Yet I was mortal, I was me
Trapped inside a battle of Ares
Venom a doctor can not cure

No shield to protect from these wounds
Your icy stares and ridicule
And now darkness starts to consume
Venom a doctor can not cure

Do you know the damage that’s done?
Everyday I plead for the end
As you choose to laugh and make fun!
Venom a doctor can not cure

Ugly, dumb, never together
Waste of life and invisible
Words etched in my heart forever!
Venom a doctor can not cure

Your poison starts to further spread
Seeping right through my veins, toxic
Cause now I believe what you’ve said
Venom a doctor can not cure

Can you now hear the Banshee’s cry?
Congratulations you’ve just won
Cause now I for real want to die
Venom a doctor can not cure

You’ve woken this monster within
Cause I hate her, who I’ve become
For ashes newly arisen:
A cure, a friend, YOU reaching in!

First poem ever written about bullying, and what it can do to you.
