Love.
Complex meaning
For such a simple word.
We all have
Our own knowledge,
Our own interpretation
Of it.
I, in my vanity,
Believed mine was best.
I thought that love
Was forever.
But you changed
My interpretation
When you left.
Now,
I see love as
An empty, meaningless
Promise.
