There were two teens

Who fell in love.

He’d say she was

Sent from above.

On his lips,

She’d quench her thirst.

He’d kiss her always,

But hold her first.

Sadly it ended,

Too quick for her.

The times they had,

The memories that stirred.

She’d always remember,

He’d never forget.

The break up he said

He’d always regret.

That was the tale

Of not long ago,

Of a girl called Angel

And her Romeo.

The author's comments:
This was inspired actually by my own recent love story. The girl, Angel, was me. That was the nickname that my boyfriend at the time gave me. He is represented by Romeo, the nickname that I gave him. It was a hreatbreaking end, for me at least, so I thought that I would write a poem out of it. And yes, my screen name did come from his nickname for me.
