Better Being Just Friends
I was born to love you,
I remember when you told me you had a girlfriend,
I heard that you really love her,
I saw that she loves you too,
I worried when I had no response from you,
I thought you had forgotten me forever,
But, I want to change.
I am tired of this situation,
I think you are better with her,
I need to let go of you,
I try not to feel this anymore,
I feel that I need you here by my side,
I forgive you for not loving me,
Now I can change.
I will let you be happy with her,
I choose to be your friend and only your friend,
I dream of one day finding another love,
I hope I find a boyfriend as perfect as you,
I predict myself happy,
I know that at least I will always be the best friend besides you,
I will change.
