Never thought we'd get to this place
Read your files, but didn't know love was the case
Never thought we would be so close
and disregard cooties, and not butterflies are gross.
Young love, it can grow
The best part is, we'll never know
If your pre-k sweet heart
will capture your sweet heart
and dry every tear, mend every scar
lend a helping hand, whether near or far
Expect the unexpected, they all say,
But I didn't expect you to come my way
The wonders of fate, maybe it's time
that I begin to realize,
that I am yours, and you are mine
