Stretch up
In its rays
I walk slowly
Pondering
Each
Small
Step
Up the walk
As I make
My way
Home
My thoughts stray
As they usually do
To you
I stop
My sneakers
Making a small
Crunch
As I
Halt
And close
My eyes
I imagine
What it might
Be like
For just
One
Moment
If maybe
You had
Your arms
Around me
I would feel
So safe
So happy
So loved
Its too bad
I can't feel
Anything
At all
