New York City lights up the sky,
Looking like fireworks from above.
Lights, and chaos down the streets
As tourist meet, Lady Liberty:
Young children's eyes twinkle as they approach
A piece of history
Little ones think it is...
A lady with a torch
Big and green
They are right it is all that and more.
Representing the U.S.’s relationship
With France
Without France, she would not be here.
Remember, Lady Liberty is a piece of history.
