dust bowl
1930’s western United States
Calm breeze blows through crop fields
Hot sun rays beam down on small towns
Sky is clear like a glass of purified water
A perfect day in the west
Over the horizon
Sand storms in
Sucking the life out of the town
Houses destroyed, families devastated, crops demolished
The town is gone swallowed by sand
Now six feet underground
