Some days
I want to be alone
In my room
With the stereo on
Blasting Beethoven
As I hum along
To the beat
Of the symphony
That seems to go
On and on
And when it stops
I pick up my violin
And play the symphony
Over again
The best way I can
With the bow in my left hand
And the violin in my right
I close my eyes
As I sigh
Wishing I can play
All day all night
