Fireflies

Blink, Blink
Flashing O so Bright
Watch the Fly
Shine in the night
See the glow,
And then you’ll know
It’s a Firefly
No sound at all,
Hiding day not night,
Making no call,
In and out of sight
When they talk,
They glisten
They want us
To listen
Fireflies
Hiding in the day,
All through the night they stay
Blinking here and there
Making a golden flare
Fireflies
As we wake up in the morning
Rubbing our tired eyes,
We cannot see those
Tiny Fireflies
