May 1, 2008
By Victoria Bartoldus, Poulsbo, WA

she sits there
in her hard earned hovel
wallowing in self pity.

escapes my throat.
she doesn’t know what she has.
oh man,
if i were her,
i’d be so glad . . .
i’d be so glad.
