I'm saying my last hellos,
you're the last one the list.
I just feel so expectant,
is there something I'm going to miss?
You glance at me,
mutter a 'hey'
Oh.
I'm sorry I wasted your time
because even though I'm running out of mine,
you couldn't even bare to meet my eyes.
Are you scared?
Pathetic, I think.
You're the one who pushed to the brink.
I shake my head
as I turn to go.
I say my last goodbye
after my last hello.
