The Waterfall

Through the forest and over the hill
Passed the meadow lies
A water fall with shining water
As blue as the morning skies
Splash! Against the hard, slick rocks
It splatters into the stream
It spatters onto the green, dry grass
Leaving a wondrous gleam
At the bottom, the fall gurgles
Creating a beautiful foam
Deer drink from its curvaceous stream
As woodland creatures roam
When evening comes, still it glistens
It crackles in the night
The moon illuminates the tranquil stream
A gorgeous, peaceful sight
