The Midnight Walk

April 29, 2008
By Sylvia Singleton, West Roxbury, MA

Down to the beach I go
with hat and scarf,
Mittens and goggles

The driving snow
beats at my face
stinging my cheeks

Powerful winds threaten
to blow snow
in my face

Barly walking
ofthen tripping
I leave the beach

Pretty, Peaceful, Perfect is
my midnight walk
Though the snow.
