The Final Blow MAG
How frustrating
How sad,
How unfair,
How maddening.
How terrible
Of that doctor
To tell us such a thing,
How dare he smile
While dealing that final blow?
I’m seeing my own life
Flash before me,
I’m seeing my own pain
Linked with yours
And all I can think about
Is how it is your fault
That you have caused this pain,
That you have done something wrong,
And so I am not talking to you,
Grandma,
Because I am angry at you,
Because you didn’t think about my life,
When you caused your own
To end, with cancer.
