A letter, black and white. So simply but so powerful. Every line filled full of love and thought, reminds them of what they fight for. Wives and mothers, poring support into there loved ones. Pray to see there beautiful faces brought to life with every last word written down. Three words... “I love you” brings tears of pain and joy. Tears that will only push them forward.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece for my girlfriends class but she never ended you using it and i really loved it when i read it back so ive just held onto it for a couple months now. This piece i relate to and wrote from my feels as i was in rehab. When people say I captured the feelings of a war letter and i hope the rest of you agree :)
