Sound
I plug my poem in to my Sony Stereo on the solid wood dresser
Its jet-black body sits enclosed in a clear plastic case protecting
It from my “graceful” nature the sound flutters out of the silver speakers
Enclosing me
Surrounding me
In my own little world full of
Rock and pop-core
My poem allows me to clear my mind
Allowing nothing to enter
Filling my body with joy like a child receiving a new toy for the first time
Filing my ears with only (what I consider)
The best music
Each time my poem is plugged in it repeats all over again in a whole new way
