She Tried MAG
She tried to tell me that she was no junkie
As we stood talking over coffee and cigarettes
She pouted her best CK pout
And covered the inside of her elbow
Declaring simply and doubtfully:
"I'm no junkie."
I stared down at my imperfect thighs
And compared them to her purple veiny legs
I had to smile.
She tried to tell me that she was no junkie
As she popped three mini-thins
And offered them politely to me
She gulped them down with coffee,
And took a drag from her cigarette
Declaring simply and dishonestly:
"I'm no junkie."
