Nine long months of waiting
just waiting
Twenty four hours of pain
more pain
They cut me open to welcome you to this world
my beautiful baby boy
you bring me such joy
with tears in my eyes
as I hear your first cries
of life
with an aching heart
i hold you in my arms
my beautiful baby boy
i take pride in having created you
i will show you off to the world
and now a year later
i will welcome a baby girl :)
your beautiful sister

My son, Jesse, inspired me to write this not too long ago. And a couple months from now i will be writing the second half for my daughter :D
