Swirl around my head
Blocked by a nightmare
Instead
Blissful nights
Rest outside
Masking the fear
In my head
My life’s fantasy
Before me
Locked behind
The gates of dread
The single key
Lost
Beneath a crowd
Of pure hatred
Look left, then right
No place to hide
Stand straight, be brave
The words echo in my head
Now is the time
To let it all go
My broken dreams and shattered heart
Soon will mend
