THE PLACE WHERE I FEEL HAPPY,
THE PLACE WHERE I FEEL COOL,
IS MY AIRFORCE SCHOOL.

THE PLACE WHERE I MET,
TEACHERS NO ONE CAN GET,
THE PLACE WHERE I SEE
CHILDREN FEELING FREE,
FREE TO EXPRESS THERE EMOTIONS,
FREE TO EXPRESS THERE AMBITIONS.

I ALSO FEEL FREE HERE,
FREE TO HAVE MY EXPERIENCE SHARE.

BUT, TODAY I FEEL BAD,
TODAY I FEEL SAD,
TODAY I DON’T HAVE WORDS,
AS I CAN’T SEE THOSE BIRDS,
THE BIRDS WHICH GAVE ME STRENGTH,
THOSE BIRDS WERE MY TEACHERS, MY FRIENDS.

I KNOW I’LL MISS THIS SCHOOL,
WHERE I USED TO FEEL COOL.

I KNOW I’LL MISS EVERY DAY,
I’VE SPENT IN THIS SCHOOL IN EVERY WAY.

I’LL MISS ANJUM MA’AM’S COUNSLING,
I’LL MISS AARTI MA’AM’S AND ANJANA MA’AM’S TEACHING,

I’LL MISS HOW WE USED TO GIVE BEAULAH MA’AM SHOCKS,
I’LL MISS SINHA SIR’S CHEMISTRY,
I’LL MISS KHAN SIR’S AND SHAREEF SIR’S PHYSICS AND BIOLOGY,
BUT THE TRUTH IS FOR ME SCIENCE IS AN UNSOLVED MYSTERY.

I’LL MISS PUJA AND CALLING HER FISH,

HOW CAN I FORGET NISHANT OF WHOM I AM A GREAT FAN,
HOW CAN I FORGET VISHNU AND HIS LOYALITY,

I’LL REMEMBER SIDDHANT’S CONTINUOUS QUESTIONS,
I’LL REMEMBER THAT CHIRAG WAS ALWAYS IN MOTION.

HOW CAN I FORGET THE STUPID BOYS OF MY CLASS,
HOW CAN I FORGET THAT OUR CLASS WAS THE SCHOOL’S MOST UNITED MASS.

I’LL NEVER FORGET STANDING IN PUNISHMENTS,
DUE TO MY CLASS MATES NAUGHTY MOVEMENTS.

I’LL MISS KARISHMA CALLING ME DIDI,
I’LL MISS ALL HER CHILDISH STUPIDITY,

I’LL MISS PLAYING IN THE SCHOOL’S BASKET BALL COURT,
I’LL MISS MY CLASS AND EVEN THE BLACK BOARD,
WHERE WE USED TO WRITE OUR DREAMS,
WHERE WE USED TO DECIDE WE’LL CHOOSE WHICH STREAM,
I’LL MISS EVERYBODY CALLING ME COMPLAN AND BOURNVITA,
I’LL MISS HAVING TIFFIN BETWEEN THE CLASS AND LEARNING THE VALUES OF a AND Q,
I’LL MISS PRINCIPAL SIR’S VOICE BOOMING IN THE CORRIDOR,
I’LL MISS THIS SCHOOL, ITS EVERY GROUND AND FLOOR.

THOUGH I’VE SPENT ONLY TWO YEARS IN THIS SCHOOL,
I’VE FOLLOWED NEITHER REGULATIONS NOR RULES,
BUT STILL IT IS MY FAVUORITE PLACE,
I’LL NEVER FORGET MY AIR FORCE SCHOOL’S DAYS.
