Just Because I am Irish

By
Just because I am Irish
Doesn’t mean I am always drunk
Doesn’t mean I believe in leprechauns
And doesn’t mean I chase rainbows

Just because I am Irish
Doesn’t mean I wear green
Doesn’t mean I have a beard
Doesn’t mean I am short

Just because I am Irish
Doesn’t mean I own a Claddagh Rings
Doesn’t mean I eat potatoes
Doesn’t mean I do step dancing

Just because I am Irish
What is heritage?
Are we really all just a stereotype?
Aren’t we all individuals?
YES WE ARE!
