Death

Death is such a hard thing to understand
It’s just another thing we don’t want to comprehend
When someone dies
Everyone cries
But shortly after we move on with our lives
Death is such a hard thing to fathom
It’s just another thing we don’t want to imagine
When someone passes away
We can’t find the words to say
But will we always remember him each and every day
If I were to die today would anyone remember
On the day that was my birthday or on Christmas in December
Would anyone be aware
At my funeral who would be there
And of all my last wishes would anyone care
If today you were to stop living
Would your enemies be forgiving
Would people miss you
And what would they do
If forever on they would never see you
Death is such a hard thing to understand
