A song,
A requiem,
I twist and turn,
My eyelids are closed,
I spin and spin,
A dream, yes?
What more can it do to impress,
It is beyond depressed,
What a drug?
A drug?
A thought?
Something that was just caught,
Or won because we fought,
What a camaraderie
Such a brawny bond,
A hallucination?
A dream?
A vision?
A fantasy?
A reverie?
A daze?
A haze?
Ah, so much for a maze
Sway all wobbly,
Feeling muzzy,
Disturbing images,
Your mind, twitch
Wars of fantasy and opera,
Consigned to some forgotten drunken stupor.
