I waited for you to make the first move
This s*** always hurts worse
When you’re on the receiving end
Your words do you no justice
Surely you have better insults in there?
You touched my shoulder today
While I was crying
Like you actually gave a damn for a minute…
But we
You and I
We know better
Don’t we?
Maybe there is justice in finding peace
I only wish that I could utter those words…
