On binders and bookshelves,

My hands and jeans, too,

On pages and papers,

I'll write of you.


On a strip of duct tape,

Across the top of my shoe,

On all my school folders,

I'll write of you.


On my chalkboard pretty in pink,

Across my bracelets, too,

Ink all over my notebooks,

I'll write of you.


In small print on my pencils,

Sometimes larger print too,

On everything that I've written on,

I'll always write of you.

The author's comments:
I actually heard my best friend say "On pages and papers, I'll write of you." I was like "Oh! Permission to steal?" And she gave me the go ahead. This was definitely written with someone in mind... I just don't want to publish that...
